"Sam the Dog Man was fantastic with our Girl Belle!! We are enjoying an extended road trip with our RV and our Pup and we (on occasion) have a need for daycare/overnight boarding for her. Sam has been very responsive and super easy to coordinate her care with. We met for a meet and greet and toured his home where he is very organized with the care of his "regulars" and those passing through..... like us. He is clearly a "Dog Person" and enjoys what he does. He takes the pups to the best local dog park each morning to play and run and wear themselves out.... Belle was whooped each day after pick up and was calm all evening. He also offers care for doggos who prefer quieter time and individual walks instead of group play. The location is perfect for our weeklong visit to Colorado Springs and we couldn't be happier!

"As the owner of a very intense Australian shepherd with separation anxiety, and high exercise and stimulation needs, finding a dog sitter was always a challenge. No matter how great they seemed, I spent all of my time away worrying about my dog. Finding Sam has been life-changing. Sam knows dogs, and can understand your dogs behavior to keep them happy and safe in a way you are not going to find on rover or at a kennel. Not only did I get daily pictures and videos of my dog running around parks and reservoirs at least once a day, but I got peace of mind knowing my dog was happy, tired out, and most importantly, safe. I have invested a lot of time and energy into my dogs training, and Sam was eager to learn how Bowie responds to voice commands, and it was clear that he kept his brain just as busy as his body while I was gone. Arguably the best part of using Trails and Tails is coming home after a long day of travel to a dog that is completely and totally exhausted from a long fun weekend with Sam and his pack. "Sam is our go-to dog wrangler whenever we are traveling or unable to get out and give them the exercise they need during the week. At the moment he takes them twice each week. We have two mixed breed Rez dogs. They both need a lot of exercise, and we know they get plenty of time to run and play in a designated off leash area for 2 or three hours, every day they stay with Sam. Our young dog still needs work on some commands - especially recall when she is being distracted - and Sam has been working on that too.
